These terms are designed for a small SaaS product. They are intentionally conservative and may be refined as billing and features mature.

Account access

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Do not attempt to access other users’ accounts or data.
• We may suspend accounts to protect the service or prevent abuse.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to break the law, infringe rights, or harass others.
• Do not attempt to bypass usage limits or interfere with service availability.
• Do not scrape or bulk-download data in a way that breaches Companies House terms or applicable law.

Data sources and accuracy

Company information displayed by Company Desk is sourced from Companies House and related public records. We do not guarantee accuracy or completeness. You must independently verify official records for legal decisions.

Plans, credits, and billing

Where paid plans or credits apply, the service may enforce usage limits. Billing terms may be updated as subscription features are enabled. If payments are processed (e.g. via Stripe), you agree to the processor’s terms where applicable.

Service availability

We aim to keep the service available, but availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, network issues, or upstream data provider issues may cause downtime.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or decisions made based on information provided by the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
